NatureByFeathers Organic Comfrey Ointment 70g glass jar.
Our Comfrey mix has the primary ingredients of Almond oil, Comfrey, beeswax and lavender oil. Almond oil has beneficial properties of Vitamin E, Vitamin A, Omega-3 Fatty Acids and Zinc to assist with skin care and massage. Beeswax is used here as a stiffening agent and also has beneficial anti-fungal properties. Lavender oil is believed to have muscle relaxant properties & also acts as an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory.
The ointment is prepared to have consistency mix perfect for massage.
The ointment is NOT cream based and has an expected one-year shelf life if kept out of sunlight in a cool dry place.
We use sterilised equipment and ensure containers are wiped down with an alcohol wipe before packaging.
We may use re-purposed packaging materials that can be re-cycled. We ask you dispose of the packaging by re-using or placing in the appropriate re-cycling bin. The glass jar and lid are all re-cyclable. The peanut packing is compostable. The polyfoam inserts are environmentally friendly, they can go in the re-cycle bin.
Ingredients
Our Comfrey ointment is prepared using only organic or certified pesticide free ingredients.
Organically grown using the Permaculture method, dried comfrey leaf and root, certified chemical and preservative free cold pressed Australian sweet almond oil, Australian organic beeswax, pure lavender oil (Lavandula angustifolia).
We use almond oil for its healing properties of Vitamin E, Vitamin A, Omega-3 Fatty Acids and Zinc perfect for skin care and massage.
The current batches of the Comfrey Ointment are now the following ratio:
Comfrey Leaf flower = 6%, Comfrey root = 6%, Almond oil =88%
This is a 12% mix which will now be the standard ratio.
A ratio of 15% can be selected under choose option for the 70g glass jar.
The 15% selection has a ratio mix of comfrey leaf/flower 8.5% & comfrey root 6.5%
